Purpose-built, not generic

Designed around album-folder finalization and music-library hygiene.

Audio Metadata Workstation connects tasks that normally require several disconnected tools. The intent is a guided, auditable process that helps a collector turn a ripped album folder into a durable, Plex/Jellyfin-ready archive.

01

FLAC Album Audit

Inspect tags, track consistency, sidecars, embedded artwork, folder art, and readiness risks before making changes.

02

Windows-Safe Artwork Doctor

Detect oversized embedded art, unsupported formats, duplicate covers, and folder-art mismatches; build a controlled repair proposal.

03

Lyrics & Sidecars

Normalize embedded lyric fields, preserve multiline formatting, and export TXT/LRC sidecars for media-server compatibility.

04

Plex / Jellyfin Writeback

Compare media-server candidates and generate metadata writeback proposals for biography, genre, label, summary, and related fields.

05

EAC PreFlight & Finalize

Validate rip logs, AccurateRip evidence, CRCs, suspicious positions, and output readiness before archival finalization.

06

Playlist Ordering & USB Export

Sort playlists, preview reordering, preserve album grouping, and export ordered tracks to folders or removable media.

Promotional placeholder artwork

The intended scope is bigger than tagging.

From ripping and initial tags through artwork repair, embedded lyrics, media-server import, writeback, refined archive, CD+G preparation, and playlist export, the workstation is being shaped as an end-to-end operating console for serious music-library maintainers.

Archive-safe by design

Every risky action should be explainable, reversible, and logged.

01

Run scans and audits without modifying album files.

02

Show dimensions, byte size, MIME type, picture role, and compatibility risk before touching embedded artwork.

03

Create timestamped backups before modification and verify after write by reopening and re-auditing.

04

Preserve full-resolution originals externally while embedding practical, compatible front-cover artwork.

GUI direction

Previously generated workstation concept screens.

These are concept examples for the planned application, not production screenshots. They are included here so the site communicates the intended direction while development continues.

Development posture

Build the safe slice first, then expand the workstation.

Now

Album Audit + Artwork Doctor

Read-only scan, Windows-safe image diagnostics, previewable remediation, backups, rollback, and verify-after-write behavior.

Next

Lyrics and media-server proposals

Embedded lyric normalization, sidecar production, Plex/Jellyfin candidate comparison, and controlled metadata writeback.

Later

EAC, playlists, CD+G path

Rip-log evidence, playlist ordering/export, timed lyrics, and karaoke-oriented preparation workflows.
